Shipping

Our preferred method of shipment is by Canada Post C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery). You must pay CASH to the Canada Post driver or Post Office. The shipping charges we quote are based on the C.O.D. service, as well as the required insurance (against loss, damage, and theft), as well as freight charges.

Delivery times using UPS courier service, range from two to five business days on average, not including weekends or holidays.

Any orders for delivery within Ontario are subject to the applicable PST and GST taxes. All orders for delivery outside of Ontario will be charged either GST, or if applicable the HST (Newfoundland and Nova Scotia) as well. We ship within Canada only.

 

Return and Exchange Policy

The customer may choose to deal with the manufacturer of the product directly, if the product is a retail boxed version for faster service. Products sold by Inmax.ca are covered by our 15-day return period, unless otherwise noted.

Policies regarding items that are not covered by the 15-day return period are specified on the products' individual pages as well as in the special exceptions section below.

Only unopened products may be returned for a refund. If the products are opened, the products are only eligible for return or exchange if it is defective, and verified by our technicians. We require the return of all the original packaging, including manuals, CDs, etc.

All returns must be shipped in a secure and well-packaged container. Inmax.ca is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage, incurred during the shipping of the products. Please ship with the appropriate insurance, packaging and documentation, to ensure a safe delivery of the products back to us.

The customer must pay for shipping to return any suspected defective products to us. Once we have tested and confirmed the product is defective, we will pay for the shipping of the replacement product back to the customer, if purchased within the first thirty days. If the product is not defective, the customer is liable for the shipping charges.

Refunds are based on our current market-selling price for the product at the time of our receipt of the returned items. If the price has changed from the original purchase price at time of payment, the refund will be the lesser of the two prices. Unfortunately we do not offer any price protection / adjustment for any of the items we sell.


All returns are subject to the following:

  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Inmax.ca must accompany all returns.
  • RMA numbers must be obtained no later than 15 days from the date the product was shipped out to you. After 15 days, all product returns must be handled directly by the manufacturer or warranty provider.
  • All RMA numbers are valid for 10 days from the date of issuance.
  • All products must be returned in like-new condition, including original packaging and all documentation and accessories. Charges will be applied for all missing accessories or parts. Inmax.ca will not accept items that have been physically damaged or misused.
  • Overclocking or improper installation of CPU fans will cause CPUs to chip or burn. All chipped/scratched and burnt CPUs are considered physically damaged and are not eligible for replacement or refund.
  • All returns must be shipped freight prepaid.
  • All related fees (shipping & return shipping fees) are NON-REFUNDABLE for all products in all cases.
  • Inmax.ca does not offer cross ship service.
  • 20% restocking fee applies to all refunds.
  • Please allow 1-2 weeks for all refunds.
  • After 30 days of the purchase date, all items that need to be returned for repair will have to be sent directly to the manufacturer or warranty provider. Please see the products' individual pages for additional details on warranty coverage.
  • A 5% Transaction fee + $10 Cancellation fee will be assessed for all orders that are canceled prior to being shipped.
  • A 5% Transaction fee + $10 Cancellation fee + Shipping fees will be assessed for all orders that are canceled or refused after the order has shipped.
  • A 5% Transaction fee will be assessed for all orders in which the billing and shipping addresses are not verifiable.

     

    SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS

  • Arrangement for a return must be made within 15 days from the date the item is shipped.
  • 20% restocking fee applies to all refunds.
  • Products that are defective, and/or DOA (Damaged On Arrival), can only be returned for repair / replacement.
  • All returns must also follow the return procedures mentioned above.
  • All refunds, including defective and DOA CPU's, will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
  • Overclocking or improper installation of CPU fans will cause CPUs to chip or burn. All chipped/scratched and burnt CPUs are considered physically damaged and are not eligible for replacement or refund.


    Bundled Items

  • When returning an item that was originally part of a bundle, the refund amount will be based on the item's single unit price at the time of return.
  • Arrangement for a return must be made within 15-days from the date the item is shipped.
  • Products that are defective and/or the seal of included software is broken, can only be returned for repair / replacement.
  • All returns must also follow the return procedures mentioned above.


    After receiving your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number

  • Write your RMA number legibly on the return label or outside of the packaging box.
  • Return the item in its original packaging to:

    Unauthorized Returns

    Shipments that are refused without authorization, or that are returned to us because the address was invalid, are subject to a restocking fee of 15% plus applicable shipping and handling fees.

    Warranty Service

    In all cases, you must have a RMA number. If Inmax.ca is the warranty provider, you must obtain a RMA number from us. If a manufacturer or third party is responsible (RETAIL VERSIONS OF CPU'S), you must obtain a RMA number from them.
